The Surprising Role of Geography in Penis Size

No matter where you live, chances are that if you’re a guy, you’ve had a few concerns about penis size over the years. Though most men are totally comfortable with their penis size, some guys can’t help but constantly compare themselves to everyone else until they get so worked up it actually begins to affect their performance. But comparing yourself to what you see on television or in the movies is simply unrealistic but you can’t exactly walk around asking local guys how they measure up either. The solution … a scientific survey of course.

Who Has What

People have been studying the sexual habits and physical traits of each other for generations. There are dozens and dozens of studies on the size of the human penis which have been conducted in pretty much every country on the planet. Recently, a team of researchers decided to comb through the data and see if there were any differences in average penile length from one country to the next.

World Map

In fact they found there were definite differences when it came to what was normal in terms of penis length. Ultimately, they grouped 116 countries into four categories which they labelled by colour. Red was at the bottom and included everyone up to 4.6 inches, then came orange with a range of 4.7 – 5.5 inches, then yellow with 5.6 – 6.2 inches and finally green which was any country with 6.3 inches or above (the top of the scale went to 7.1 inches with the top ranked nation of Congo).

Yellow was the most popular category with over 30 countries falling within its parameters of 5.6 – 6.2 inches but both the United States and the United Kingdom fell into orange with an average national penis length of around 5.5 inches. In fact, once all the data had been pooled, 5 and a half inches was pretty much the worldwide average as well finally dispelling the myth of men having 7 inches by default which has been the crux of internet lies and male insecurity for years. It’s worth noting that countries which do fall into the yellow category include the US and much of Europe, which are also the places with the highest sales of penile enlargement products and which are home to regular contributors of penis enlargement reviews and articles on male enhancement.

Why This Matters

So what difference does all this really make? I mean, unless you’re in the business of writing penis enlargement reviews and want to know which country has the most customers, is this even worth learning about? Well, yes, it is. You see, men feel just as much pressure when it comes to their bodies as women do about theirs. But for men almost all of their focus goes right to their penis. There’s an attitude in the world that basically says the size of your penis reflects how manly you are or how worthwhile you are. With insults like “small many syndrome” and “short short man” being so common, it’s no wonder why guys worry constantly about whether or not they measure up.

These findings will help plenty of guys realize that they may be small compared to guys from another country but, on their own turf, they’re absolutely normal. It also shows the wide range of sizes available all over the world and proves that human beings can be beautiful, sexy and strong regardless of their shape. For some men, it’s the chance to finally breathe a bit easier and learn to enjoy what they have instead of worrying about what they thought they needed.
