Poly-Therapy: Too Much of a Good Thing?

When it comes to self-improvement, we all want to see results, like… YESTERDAY. But, as with any sort of body modification, change takes time. This truth is frustrating for so many people – including those who want to improve their health, lose weight, increase Self Improvementmuscle mass and, of course, for guys who want to enlarge their penis. Of course, there are ways to speed up any process but some tricks are better than others.

Poly-Therapy and Penis Enlargement

When a person uses two or more methods in order to achieve a goal, it is called poly-therapy. This approach can be – and often is – used to deal with a number of conditions or issues including weight, physical fitness and, of course, sexual performance.  The most common example of poly-therapy is combining nutrition and exercise in order to help boost weight loss. When it comes to penis, enlargement, however, the term usually applies to men who use both a penis extender and a vacuum pump in order to improve their results or speed up the enlargement process.

Supporters of this method point out that using a vacuum pump before and after a session with a penis extender improves blood flow which, in turn makes the penis extender easier to put on initially and, after the session is over, promotes better recovery. To be fair, there is some truth to this theory and many men have reported positive results through online message boards and other community forums.

At the same time, this type of poly-therapy also carries some risks which shouldn’t be overlooked. Using a vacuum pump is a fairly intense experience. As its name implies, the pump uses vacuum suction in order to draw blood to the penis. While this works great to give guys a boost in girth, it’s also fairly hard on the tissues of the penile shaft. While these devices are completely safe to use for temporary gains, using them regularly can increase the chances of strain or injury.

To be fair, men who practice this kind of poly-therapy say they only use a vacuum pump for a minute or two and so they claim it doesn’t carry as much of a risk. But there are better ways to draw blood into the groin and promote tissue elasticity and healing without the use of these pumps.

Options and Ways to Mix it Up

Before a man begins his enlargement session, he should wrap his penis and the surrounding area with a warm, damp cloth. This will effectively steam to area, relaxing the tissues and improving overall elasticity. After his enlargement session is done, repeating this procedure once again improves circulation which will promote more rapid healing. Adding a massage to this routine improves healing and circulation even more all without the use of any sort of vacuum suction.

One of the benefits of using a vacuum pump before enlargement has to do with preventing slippage when putting on a penis extender. For men who practice poly-therapy for this reason, using a pump before enlargement and then the less invasive warm cloth and a massage after may strike the perfect balance.

It’s natural to want to speed up the process of self-improvement. But jumping the gun and doing too much at one time can actually set you back farther and make your goals more difficult to attain. Instead, finding a middle ground that combines safe options without going overboard is the perfect way to make progress without risking strain or injury. This approach may take longer, but the final effects are healthier and more likely to be permanent.
