6 Myths And 1 Fact About How To Permanently Increase Penis Size

Myth 1: Exercises. While there are definite sexual performance benefits to exercising the Kegel muscles, there are no exercises that will increase the size of the penis. While many websites tout the benefit of jelqing as an ancient Asian technique passed from father to son as a penis extender, the fact is that the penis is not a muscle and cannot get larger through any act of exercise.

Myth or FactMyth 2: Vacuum pumps. In the best case scenario, vacuum pumps can help men suffering from medical conditions that inhibit blood circulation to achieve an erection. They are medically helpful for aging men, or men with diabetes or other conditions, which is why they are covered by Medicare in many cases. However, they are repeatedly proven have no lasting effect on penis size or sexual performance. In addition, some studies show that men come to rely on these devices in order to achieve an erection at all.

Myth 3: Cock rings. As with vacuum pumps, cock rings can help a man maintain an erection and may assist with sexual stamina, but cock rings do not affect penis size, and the effects last only as long as the ring is worn.

Myth 4: Pills and supplements. Of course, we all know by now that there are pills that effectively overcome erectile disfunction. These pills work by relaxing the smooth muscles in the arteries that supply blood to the penis, allowing it to achieve an erection. As with our other myths, these pills are not penis extenders, do not affect size, and the effects are temporary. In the case of lasting effects, see a physician immediately. As for the many supplements that claim to make the penis larger, at best they may promote blood circulation, at worst they have negative health side effects. The majority of them do nothing at all, and none of them affect the size of the penis.

Myth 5: Surgery. Surgeons have begun claiming that there are surgical techniques that can enlarge the penis. While surgery can benefit many men suffering from penis deformity or injury, evidence shows that surgery is an undesirable option for an otherwise normal penis. The most common procedure, performed on 83% of recipients, is the dividing of the suspensory ligament. This has been reported to gain some recipients about .25 of an inch in flaccid length. However, the suspensory ligament is what causes an erect penis to point upward; a common side effect of this surgery is that the erect penis points downward. Many men report that surgery is expensive, risky, and doesn’t deliver the results they were seeking. Furthermore, no information about results and complications of cosmetic lengthening have ever been published in a peer-reviewed journal.

Myth 6: Injections. While some urologists are studying the effects of silicone on the penis, it is extremely risky for the overall health of the man, and may have many unpredictable effects. It should go without saying that this should NEVER be done outside of a medical setting, and further studies will have to be done to determine the efficacy of silicone injections. Botox injections can temporarily inhibit the ability of the penis to retract in response to temperature changes, which can create an apparent increase in flaccid length, but the effect varies a great deal from individual to individual and is temporary. Furthermore, the maximum effect of Botox would only be to achieve the natural, relaxed flaccid length of the un-injected penis.

The fact is that the only method that has ever been scientifically proven to permanently lengthen the penis is an extender, which works by traction or slow stretching of the penis. Penis extenders have been demonstrated to use the body’s natural process to stimulate cell regeneration in the tissues of the penis, and a prominent medical journal that researched penile extenders concluded that men permanently gain, on average, just under an inch in length, and states that penile traction devices should be considered a first-line treatment option for men seeking a lengthening procedure.

There are a number of penis extender devices on the market, and sites that provide penis extender reviews can be used to compare features, price, and effectiveness, as well as customer testimonials.
